A beautiful table is a must when celebrating at home and wanting to treasure the memories. Getting it just right isn't always easy. I'll tell you how I created this one for my daughter Itala's birthday.
It's very important to plan ahead and choose the spot that will be the focal point so it can capture all the attention and the flashes. I usually use my dining table; it's the easiest and most practical option. I like to show off its wooden top, but on this occasion, I used a frosted rose gold tablecloth.
A double TataSuperReal pudding loaded with Milky Way and lots of other chocolates was chosen to take center stage, a triple pudding bowl to give it height, and a mix of balloons and flowers made it even more special.
I flanked it with more flowers, balloons, and feathers. Playing with different sizes and mixing different color palettes is my recommendation. I chose dusty pink, nude, and tan brown tones for the balloons. For the flowers, roses and pink carnations accompanied by gypsophila and eucalyptus were the choice. To add a chic touch, dried feathers were a hit.
On the wall, tissue paper pom poms provided the perfect backdrop. I continued with the color scheme: dusty pink, ivory, pastel gray, and rose gold. Mixing and gluing them haphazardly, creating a bit of chaos but still achieving the perfect composition, is an art that requires creativity and a little patience. My advice: use safe, secure tape so the wall paint doesn't get damaged after the party.
I believe that when things are done with love, they're much more fun, and the result is always perfect. I hope you're inspired to create your own unforgettable celebrations, that you enjoy the process, and that they turn out spectacular!
