Questions before starting a project

A functional, personalized, and elegant project is achieved from the first step. It goes far beyond the beautiful photos of the final result and each of the specifications that occur during the process. Today I'll tell you about the process.

For my design firm, it's essential to understand the dreams of each of our clients. Each project is unique. We work with passion, dedication, and care to make it a reality. We begin by getting to know each other through a design appointment. Here are some of the questions we ask:

1. What is your defining style? Answering this question can be tricky, but I always ask for inspirational images. This way, I can establish a common thread of design elements and tones to define the style with the desired characteristics for the project.

2. What is the function of each space in the project? It seems simple, but it's necessary to understand the intention beyond the function. When it comes to how you imagine living in that space, no detail is too small. Understanding the lifestyle allows me to decide on the arrangement of furniture and the materials to use.

3. What do you like about your current home? It's important to retain any aspects you love and want to incorporate, from a sentimental piece to your favorite chair. It's also important to determine what isn't working and address it.

4. What are the priorities? It's necessary to determine what must be done to adjust the function, budget, and schedule.
