Elephant Room

A very special elephant room. Designing a room for a child is always a challenge, even more so if they're just starting kindergarten and there are multiple needs for every little thing you want to make, display, and store. Therefore, understanding their tastes and needs is a priority. Read on, I'll tell you how I outlined this wish list:

This little one is an elephant lover, so an animal wallpaper with dinosaurs, toucans, monkeys, and of course elephants is the perfect mix to entertain and ensure sweet dreams in this room.

A TV panel with a mini dresser with drawers for storing and containing multiple Legos, puzzles, and toys is the perfect complement. A colorful accent accentuates the beautiful wallpaper without taking away from it.

A Montessori bed that would offer independence, allowing him to move independently, get in and out of it independently, and a rail for added safety were essential. Its L-shaped headboard creates the perfect corner.

A large piece of furniture that includes a wardrobe, large upper drawers, and gallery furniture come together to create the perfect canvas for displaying your collection of favorite stuffed animals, books, and toys. A desk is the perfect finishing touch for learning how to complete small tasks and large works of art.

In this room, every detail was thought out. I'm delighted with the final result! A complimentary consultation with my design firm, Monica Saravia, is the first step to achieving a special room. Sweet dreams!
