Chandeliers or pendant lamps are a great way to give your space that WOW effect and turn it into a real conversation piece.
A chandelier is essentially a decorative light fixture that hangs from the ceiling, primarily used in the dining room, but can also be used in all areas of our home, such as the living room, bedrooms, kitchen, and even bathrooms and walk-in closets.
The traditional chandelier is usually one with several arms and crystal beads; modern design innovates and revalues this form. Consider your home's style to select one that complements and adds elegance. Today, I'll tell you what to consider when choosing the perfect chandelier:
LOCATION
The chandelier should be as centered as possible. For aesthetic reasons, it will be more visible and admired, and it will provide symmetry. This will also help to distribute the light more evenly.
HEIGHT
The chandelier shouldn't block your view, much less hit your head; make sure you achieve this during installation. My recommendation for the dining room is that the bottom of the chandelier should be 80 cm above the table, so everyone can see each other while sharing. If your home is over 3 m high, this height should be increased.
SIZE
Make sure the size is right. I recommend that the diameter of your chandelier be 75% of the width of your dining table and never less than 50% of it.
It's time to make your dreams come true. The shapes and materials are endless. I hope these tips will help you find your perfect chandelier . Click here to see our options!
